"I spent a long time mulling over several quotes from different companies to do my re-roof, as it was a big job and a lot of money to spend so I wanted to get it right, after several years of patch jobs and bad workmanship by other people. In the end I chose Aire Valley Building and Roofing following recommendations from friends and knowing that they have reroofed several similar properties in my area so have significant experience. Bill was patient and responsive in answering lots of questions and adjusting the quote several times to cover all the work I required. I can’t fault the team who did the work – Gary, Ben and John were polite, courteous and respectful. They were also patient taking the time to answer my questions and give me regular updates on progress. They worked extremely hard in some very hot conditions but I never heard any arguments, shouting, or coarse language, which was very pleasing. They were clearly a great team who worked well together. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company."

"Used Aire valley to carry out a roof repair at my property. Was an award job with a neighbour who didn't want to play ball with letting scaffolding go up. Bill was very helpful and took great ownership of the situation. The job was done to a very high standard, fair price and all above board with building control (Council certificate provided). The guys were on site for over a week as they worked around bad weather but never heard a single complaint and the workers were very friendly. Highly recommended and would happily use them again."

"Great work on our roof. We needed some tiles replacing, ridge tile repairs, roof lining replacing and Dormer repairing and refelting. Bill was very quick to give us a reasonable quote and the work started within a few weeks. The workmen were very courteous, efficient and tidy and despite the work needing to be completed after the weekend they left the roof secure, especially as there were high winds and rain over that period. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them."

"Another satisfied customer Took a while for the scaffolding to be erected, but we had to wait due to bad weather. Once it was up, the team of roofers started work immediately removing all the tiles. With every phase of work the Proprietor (Bill Dearnley) kept us informed, providing us with a choice of replacement tiles and advised that we required new guttering at an additional price. Therefore, we had the whole roof done. Roof felt, tiles and new rainwater pipe were all replaced at a very reasonable price. The work took 2 weeks and the team cleaned up afterwards. Even did additional work on neighbours' roof where necessary. Overall, we are very satisfied with the high quality of work that has been carried out."

"Highly recommended! We had a leak in our slate roof which caused part of a bedroom ceiling to collapse. Phoned Bill who came round and gave a very good price to repair the roof and ceiling. His guys turned up on time and completed the work in a very professional manner. We then asked Bill to replace a failed flat roof and again his guys turned up, got to work and completed the job perfectly in less than two days. We would happily recommend this family run business to anyone."
